CCSP home care in Georgia

The Community Care Services Program (CCSP) is one of the two ways Georgia delivers EDWP services. Care coordination is handled through your regional Area Agency on Aging, and approved services can include in-home personal support, respite, and home-delivered meals. We provide in-home personal support and respite for CCSP members across our service area.

SOURCE home care in Georgia

SOURCE (Service Options Using Resources in a Community Environment) is the other EDWP option. It links in-home services with primary-care case management through a SOURCE site. If you or your loved one is enrolled in SOURCE, call us and we will coordinate personal support with your SOURCE case manager.

Already approved? Ready to switch?

EDWP members can choose their home care agency. Call us and we'll coordinate with your care coordinator or case manager. Read our step-by-step EDWP application guide.

  2. Assessment & approval. A care coordinator assesses needs and approves services.
  3. Call us. Once services are approved, we coordinate directly with your care coordinator.

Medicaid & Payment Questions

What is EDWP?
The Elderly and Disabled Waiver Program (EDWP) is Georgia Medicaid's main program for paying for in-home care for older adults and people with disabilities who would otherwise need nursing-home-level care. It's delivered through two service-delivery options you may still hear named: CCSP and SOURCE.
How do I apply for EDWP in Georgia?
New applications start with Georgia's Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) at 1-866-552-4464. A care coordinator assesses needs, and once services are approved, call us and we'll coordinate with your care coordinator to get care started. We're happy to help you prepare for that call.
Who is ICWP for?
The Independent Care Waiver Program serves adults 21–64 with significant physical disabilities or traumatic brain injury who would otherwise need hospital or nursing-facility care.
What is GAPP?
The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) provides in-home skilled nursing and personal care for medically fragile children and young adults under 21. Call us to talk through whether GAPP may fit your child's needs.
Can I switch to AboveAll if I already have a Medicaid provider?
Yes. Waiver members have the right to choose their provider. Call us first, and we'll explain your options and help coordinate the change with your care coordinator.
What if the Medicaid application is still pending?
Call us anyway. Many families start with short-term private pay while the application is processed, and we can help you understand where things stand.

Not sure if your loved one qualifies?

Call us. We'll give you a straight answer in one conversation.
